It’s been an unusually rainy month of June in many South Dakota counties.
Weatherology meteorologist Michael Karow says rainfall totals climb as you get closer to the southeastern part of the state.
Karow talks about the system that caused the rain.
And, Karow says, there’s an intermittent chance for more rain as we head toward the weekend.
Karow says normal rainfall in Sioux Falls during the entire month of June is 4.23 inches. He says they received 6.79 inches in the past week alone.
