What: Special Olympics “Young Athletes” is an innovative program designed to introduce children ages 2 to 7 with intellectual disabilities to the world of sport and play.
When: July 9, 16, 23, 30 August 6, 13 2024
Time: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Location: Special Olympics South Dakota Unify Center
900 E. 1-90 Lane, Sioux Falls, SD
Deadline to Register: Noon July 8, 2024

Other:
An adult is required to chaperone and participate.
A Unified Partner (child without an intellectual disability) of similar age to the Young Athlete is welcome, but not required.
Participants should wear closed toed shoes and active gear.
Minimum/Maximum: 5/20
Note: There is no penalty for missing classes. We hope to see you as often as your schedule allows!

This Sounds Fun
Pig Pals is an annual program hosted by the South Dakota Pork Producers Council. This event is intended to provide a unique opportunity to individuals with intellectual disabilities and give them the chance to show a pig at the State and County Fair level.
There are limited spots for each event, which will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
3•21 Fun & Friends is a social group for families with young children, ages 0-10, who have a disability in the Sioux Falls area. Join our monthly meetups in the Special Olympics South Dakota Unify Center to socialize, play, and build a community. These meet-ups will be free of cost, in a setting where children can play with their peers and parents can connect. If you are reading this and wondering if this group is for you, it is! We hope you’ll come to our next meet-up.
