The Walworth County Commission held a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd.
The commissioners visited via telephone with Toby Morris of Colliers Securities regarding former Pennington County Sheriff Kevin Thom working on a business plan for a new jail. Morris said they hope to have it in a format that is presentable to the commission next week.

For the Auditor’s office the commission approved the authorization of Commission Chairman Jim Houck to sign the tax deed properties. They also approved three department heads and two commissioners attending the county convention in Rapid City in September.
