Pierre School District dismissing early Friday to allow for travel to state championship football game in Vermillion

Because the football team has qualified for the Class 11AA state championship in Vermillion, the Pierre School District will release students at 12:30pm on Friday (Nov. 15, 2024).

There will be a sendoff for the team Friday at 8:45am Pierre T.F. Riggs High School theater lobby. The public is welcome to attend.

All tickets for the game Friday night at the DakotaDome are General Admission, and can be purchased by going to https://www.goyotes.com/tickets and selecting “South Dakota High School Football Championships.” Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
