National Signing Day for FBS schools across the country always brings excitement for fan bases all over no matter how big or little your impact on college football is. If you are a team towards the bottom of your conference, you hope the next years signing class brings one of potential, skill and athleticism. If your team is a powerhouse, you hope the incoming class represents that success by bringing in a group full of players inside the ESPN 300.
For college football nerds like myself, NSD is always an incredibly fun day. I think it stems from the never-ending flow of alerts that spill in. Every couple of minutes some player flips from a big school to a different big school and its the biggest news of the day for about five whole minutes until the next big announcement happens.
