In the chase for a National Championship, a bye week can be better than any medicine on the market. Both SDSU and USD got the benefit of a bye this past week thanks to another successful regular season by both teams.
SDSU welcomes in Montana this afternoon who is coming off their round one win over Tennessee St. last weekend. A nice win, but SDSU is built a little different than TSU. The Jackrabbits come into today’s game as a -21.5 point favorite. Expect them to do just what they did to get themselves here, control the line of the scrimmage and run the ball with a purpose.
USD also hosts their second round game today against the Tarleton St. Texans. The Coyotes are also pretty heavily favored coming in as -16.5 point favorites. USD likes to score so this should be a high scoring affair.
SDSU kicks off at 1:00 PM CT and USD follows shortly after at 2:00 PM CT. Both games are being broadcast on ESPN+.
