According to the World Atlas website, Mobridge is one of the seven safest towns in South Dakota for senior citizens to live in.
World Atlas called Mobridge “a quiet, small town that is something of a hidden gem within the state” and said retirees have been steadily moving there over the last several years. World Atlas said Mobridge had “less than five violent crimes per year that take place within its general area, and it has the Mobridge Regional Hospital and Clinics help keep people in the area healthy and safe. The information also mentions the Sitting Bull Memorial and the Klein Museum as being well-known attractions in the town.
The other six South Dakota towns listed as being the safest for senior citizens to live in according to World Atlas are Canton, Hot Springs, Huron, Madison, Milbank and Spearfish.
