SIOUX FALLS – Three University of Sioux Falls swimmers have been named first-team Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America.
One is from South Dakota, sophomore Elizabeth Spaans of Brandon. This is Spaans’ second straight year to receive this honor. Also receiving first-team all-academic honors are junior Chantal Kasch of Stade, Germany, who wins this honor for the third consecutive year, and a first-time recipient, junior Jenna Krahn of Johnston, Iowa.
Six other USF swimmers received honorable mention by the CSCAA: Ursula Demarquet, a freshman from Guayaquil, Ecuador; Leah Eagleton, a senior from Auckland, New Zealand; Nina Groene, a junior from Mannheim, Germany; Giulia Fazza Marcon, a junior from Juiz De Fora, Brazil; Evelyn Van De Mark, a junior from Alma, Michigan; and Kyjana Webber, a senior from Gulfport, Mississippi.
