The season finale of “Severance” released last night. If you haven’t watched, it’s about a brain implant that severs your work life from your personal life. So, you don’t remember working.
You just fast-forward to the end of the day and go home. But the trade-off is you lose eight hours of your day, literally.
Someone polled 2,000 Americans and asked: If the technology existed for real, would YOU get severed?
64% said no way, and another 10% said probably not. But that leaves one in four people who might.
10% said they probably would, and 4% said DEFINITELY. Another 12% said they’re not sure.
Young people are a lot more likely to think it’s a good idea.
