An 18-year-old fan named Zachary, who lives with cerebral palsy and an intellectual disability, used his Make-A-Wish to go see Jelly in concert. But his family just had general admission tickets.
But at breakfast the morning of the show, Jelly’s bus driver overheard their conversation and got them all hooked up with backstage access.
And when Zachary saw Jelly, he ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug. Jelly said, “You’re strong, buddy. You’re strong.”
Throughout the show that night, Jelly gave Zachary multiple shoutouts . . . And even dedicated the last song of the night, “Save Me”, to him. The whole crowd even started chanting “Zachary! Zachary!” at one point.
Zachary’s mom said, “The way all the stars aligned, I can’t even put into words. It was a dream come true.”
