Ed Sheeran went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he became the latest guest on the show’s ‘Subway Busking’ segment.
The pair disguised themselves in emo-styled wigs, sunglasses, and dark clothes, before hitting the 50th street subway station in New York City.
A small, curious crowd had already gathered by the time Fallon introduced himself and Sheeran as ‘Frat Poison’. It grew massive once “”Frat Poison”” opened up with an acoustic cover of Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’. (because who doesn’t love that song???)
The crowd can be seen and heard singing along to the words, clearly loving the show.
The unsuspecting commuters were in for a big surprise, though, when Fallon pulled off his wig and sunglasses, revealing his and Sheeran’s true identity.
Unsurprisingly, the crowd went crazy.
Ed then went on to play an original song, his new single ‘Azizam’, which was still unreleased at the time.

Ed Sheeran released his newest single ‘Azizam’ last week. This is the first single from the singer’s upcoming eighth album, ‘Play’.
Although an official release date for the album has not yet been announced, Ed recently confirmed on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast that he plans on releasing new singles every “two, three weeks”. He also revealed the name of his next single, ‘Old Phone’, which we can expect in a “couple of weeks”.
