Martin Short is 75 years old, and everyone seems to love him right now . . . probably because of his HILARIOUS show, “Only Murders in the Building”. And now, he’s got another gig.
Martin has been tapped to host yet another revival of the “Match Game” game show for ABC. It first premiered in 1962, with Gene Rayburn as the host.
The show is known for featuring a panel of celebrities and comedians . . . but there’s no word who might be involved in this one.
The most recent version happened back in 2016, with Alec Baldwin as the host. It ran for five seasons, before being canceled in 2022.
It’s unclear if Alec was offered the chance to come back, or if they passed him over after all the chaos surrounding the shooting on the set of “Rust”.
