GUTHRIE, OK – Central South Dakota competitors are set to begin action Friday night at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Josi Stevens of Pierre is set to compete in four events, starting with Pole Bending on Friday night. Josi also will compete in Reined Cow Horse Saturday morning, Breakaway Roping Sunday night and Barrel Racing on both Monday morning and Monday night.
Layni Stevens of Pierre will have the first of her two chances in Goat Tying Saturday morning.

- Chase Yellow Hawk of Blunt will have his first performance in Bareback Riding on Sunday morning.
- Sully Paxton of Onida will compete in Tie-Down Roping on Saturday morning.
- Onida’s Rafe Wjentes will have his first go in Tie-Down Roping on Sunday night.
- Dawson Phillips of Winner will take part in Reined Cow Horse on Friday night.
- Dylan Bradford of Selby will compete in Bull Riding on Friday night.
- Ty Moser of Wolsey will be in Tie-Down Roping on Sunday night.
- Iver Paul of Faith will have his first chance in Bareback Riding on Saturday night.
- Riley Shippy of Colome will have his first shot in Bull Riding on Saturday morning.
- Linkyn Petersek of Colome will team with Denton Good in their first try in Team Roping on Saturday night.
