A Rapid City, South Dakota man died following a two- vehicle crash Tuesday morning (Oct. 21, 2025, at 7:30am) near Rapid City.
Preliminary crash information indicates 43 year old Jason Emsley Nisen of Box Elder, the driver of a 2022 International Truck-Tractor, was traveling eastbound on I-90 near mile marker 54. At the same time, 43 year old Brandon Lee Ice of Rapid City, the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, was traveling westbound at the same location when he crossed the median and struck the International Truck-Tractor.
Ice died from his injuries. Nisen was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
