SPEARFISH – Both Pierre Governor soccer teams fell to 0-2 Tuesday with losses at Spearfish.
Despite having many more shot opportunities, the Governor girls lost 2-1 to the Spartans. Avery Davis scored Pierre’s goal in the first half on a cross that deflected off a defender and into the net.
Spearfish’s boys defeated the Governors 2-0.
Both teams will play next on Saturday at Aberdeen Central.
