Two of the tighter games played across the state took place between the Miller and Mt. Vernon Plankinton boys and girls on KPLO last night. In the first game of the evening, Miller took a commanding lead in the first quarter jumping in front 17-8. Mt. Vernon-Plankinton settled in during the second quarter and picked up the defense, holding the Rustlers to 8-points and going to half trailing 25-16.
