The Mobridge City Council held a special meeting Monday, December 29th, at City Hall to wrap up some Unfinished Business and approve some items under New Business.
The second reading of the Supplemental Appropriations Ordinance was approved. Mobridge City Finance Officer Heather explained the changes from the first reading to the second.
Council also approved the second reading of an ordinance that prohibits depositing snow onto city property.
Under New Business the council approved two sets of bids for hay leases with the City. Finance Officer Beck said the first lease is for an airport farm land lease agreement.
And on the second hay lease bid:
The Mobridge Fire Department requested a transfer of their remaining budget of $25,000 to go toward a fire truck loan. Finance Officer Beck talked about the details.
Council approved that transfer.
