PIERRE – Two draws completed a winless weekend for Pierre Governor Soccer Saturday against Rapid City Central at the Pierre Indian Learning Center Soccer Complex.
The Governor girls are 0-5-1 after a 2-2 draw with the Cobblers, who tied the match on a goal by Keyera Harmon in the final minute. Caytee Williams evened the match for Pierre with a goal late in the first half. Early in the second half, Ragan Rae scored to put the Governors up 2-1.
Pierre’s boys had a goalless draw with Central and are now 1-4-1.
Both teams will play Thursday at Huron.

MADISON – Governor Girls Tennis took apart the Madison Bulldogs Saturday on the road, sweeping a dual 9-0. Pierre will host Aberdeen Central in a dual Tuesday at noon at Griffin Park.

PIERRE – At the Pierre Invitational for Competitive Cheer/Dance Saturday at the Riggs High gym, the Governor cheer team finished sixth and the dance team tied for fourth, including second in jazz and fourth in hip hop. The next competition will be on Saturday, September 19 in Brookings.
