Ella Langley thinks the songs on her upcoming second album, “Dandelion”, will relate to fans in a way that her music hasn’t before.
Quote, “But also, that freeness in, you can just listen to the song and groove, you know what I mean? But if you want to think deeply about it, you sure can.”
Ella likens the songwriting to Fleetwood Mac, in the sense that you can casually listen, but also look deeper into the lyrics.
Quote, “If you want to sit there and dig through Stevie Nicks’ lyrics and Lindsey Buckingham’s lyrics, you’re like, ‘Woah,’ you know what I mean?”
She’s not worried about being asked who or what the songs are about either. Quote, “If somebody’s gonna ask me what it’s about, all I have to say is, ‘Not nothing.’ I don’t have to leave everything on the table.”
“Dandelion” comes out April 10th.
