Mobridge Sports

The Mobridge Pollock Lady Tiger Volleyball team came up against Winner last night at Mobridge Pollock High School.  The Lady Warriors Undefeated the Lady Tigers undefeated, something had to give.  The first set was close, but winner got the edge 25 to 23.  The second set was not as close with Winner coming out on top 25 to 13 and finally the third set was the knockout blow for Mobridge Pollock as The Lady Warriors won 25 to 9.  The team from Winner had 38 Kills in the match to Mobridge Pollock’s 19 kills.  Landyn Henderson led the way for the Lady Tigers with 5 kills followed by Channing Wientjes with 4 kills.  Callie Weisbeck was the assist leader going 46 of 48 and 8 assists.  In digs for the match Emily Wientjes led the way with 16 digs.  The Lady Tigers will try to bounce back against Lemmon on Thursday from the Lemmon Armory.  Tonight, the Northcentral Lady Thunder will host Sully Buttes in Roscoe starting around 6:30 and The Lady Wolverines from Herreid Selby Area will host McIntosh in Selby starting around 5 O’clock.  This Friday night, The North Border Titans will take on Ipswich Edmunds Central in Leola and KMLO 100 point seven FM will be there for the call starting around 6:30.  Spencer Gosch will have the game for those that cannot make it on KMLO and on drgnews dot com, click stations then click KMLO and scroll down to the live video section.  The Mobridge Pollock Tigers will be at home against the Sisseton Redmen on Friday for the Tiger Homecoming game.  A week of dressing up and celebrating will culminate in a highly anticipated matchup between two incredibly talented teams.  Star 99 will have the game call for those that cannot make it in person on 99 point five FM and on drgnews dot com, click stations, click Star 99 then scroll down to live video.  Due to circumstances beyond their control the Herreid Selby Area and Potter County game scheduled for this Friday will be postponed to next Friday in Gettysburg.  Timber Lake will take on Lemmon McIntosh in McIntosh Friday night at around 7 Mountain Time.  I have a feeling that is going to be a great matchup.
