At Tuesday’s meeting of the Walworth County Commission, Emergency Manager Debora Barnes talked about a conference she recently attended that included a presentation on internet crimes against children. She is working to gather more information to be able to provide to teachers and parents in Walworth County.
More discussion was held regarding the services of Northeast Mental Health and The Support Circle. Both entities will continue to be utilized by the jail, with the commission evaluating any increases incurred by the Support Circle.
The commission read and approved a resolution for adoption of the 2021 annual budget.
Some questions came up during consideration of the Web Water resolution. States Attorney Jamie Hare will get clarification on those issues.
November 5th was set as the date for a public forum presentation by KLJ on the gravel road signing project.
A special meeting of the commission will be held Friday, October 2nd, at 8:15am regarding personnel.
