Update: The Solid Waste Facility also impacted operations at the Solid Waste Facility. Due to the loss of internet service, the facility is currently unable to accept credit card payments, and the kiosk used to access the yard is not operational. Customers with an access card or those paying by cash or check can use the scale to access the yard, tree disposal area and recycling area.
9:17–The City of Pierre is currently experiencing a temporary technology outage affecting phone and email services.
During this time, City offices may be unable to receive phone calls or incoming emails. Service is currently expected to be restored around 1 p.m. today.
