The First round of playoffs in high school football goes to the weather. So, there is an interesting schedule today around our listening area. In class 9A North Border will play at Warner tonight at 7:00PM, Britton Hecla will play at Ipswich against Ipswich Edmunds Central at 7:00PM and Elkton Lake Benton will be in Lemmon against Lemmon Mcintosh today at 5:00PM MT. Today in Class 9B Harding County will be in Faith starting at 1:00 PM MT, Dupree will be in Kadoka Area starting at 6 PM MT. As for Herreid Selby Area and Faulkton Area the winter storm had changed this game as it was originally scheduled to be played in Herreid and now it’s in Selby and scheduled to be played today at 4PM. Spencer Gosch will have the call on KMLO starting at 3:30 PM CT. The State Cross Country Meet to be held in Rapid City this weekend will have a different start time then originally scheduled. In class B Girls the start time is now 9:30 AM Mountain Time. Class B Boys 10 AM Mountain Time, Class AA Girls 11:45 AM Mountain Time, Class AA Boys 12:15 PM Mountain Time, class A Girls 2:00 PM Mountain Time and class A Boys 2:30 PM Mountain time. Speaking of the Cross Country meet. Mobridge Pollock’s Cross Country team is headed to Rapid City to compete. They are leaving town today at around 8:30 this morning and will be taking a root that will let you come out to cheer them on. They will start on 10th Street past the Mobridge Regional Hospital and come out on Grand Crossing around the Dollar General. Down Grand Crossing all the way to Freeman Davis for a detour for the children then out of town on their way to the State Cross Country Meet. How about a large turn out to let them know that we are cheering for them to have a great state meet.
