Stanley County linebacker Nathan Cook has been recognized as an All-State player in 11B by the South Dakota High School Football Association.
Cook, a senior, who also started at tight end on offense, led the Buffaloes with 62 tackles, including 34 solo and 28 assisted. He also was an SESD All-Conference selection and a team captain.
Stanley County Head Coach Max Foth called Cook “the best outside linebacker I’ve coached in 10 years of being involved with high school football. Teams always had to know where he was lining up. His versatility sets him apart from other linebackers in our league.”
