Two weeks left for South Dakotans to renew expired driver licenses and ID cards

South Dakotans who have expired driver licenses or ID cards they’ve put off renewing because of COVID-19 closures at exam stations have two weeks to get those licenses renewed.

Dec. 30, 2020, is the renewal deadline and people are encouraged to renew online at Renew2020SD.com.

A reminder was mailed out last month (Nov. 2020) to all South Dakotans whose licenses or ID cards are expired or will expire before the end of the year.
