KANSAS CITY, MO – South Dakota extended its winning streak to five games Saturday with a 68-62 win over Kansas City at the Swinney Center.
For the first time, the Coyotes begin a Summit League season 4-0. They are 6-6 overall. A.J. Plitzuweit hit five three-pointers and scored 19 points. Stanley Umude and Mason Archambault each scored 15.

KANSAS CITY, MO – Onida’s Chloe Lamb scored 22 points for her 10th career 20-point game as South Dakota dropped Kansas City 80-53 Saturday at the Swinney Center.
Lamb was 8-of-14 shooting. Maddie Krull and Liv Korngable each scored 15 for the Coyotes (8-3, 4-0).
After being off next weekend, USD will host Western Illinois in Vermillion on January 22 and 23.
