Growing up, the only cartoon we watched was the Flinstones. My family would sit down and watch it together! We have some great memories watch that show. We weren’t ones to sit down and watch TV. We were way more ADD for that. This news excited everyone in my family!
According to Cartoon Brew, it was announced that Fox Entertainment has picked up a reboot of the “Flinstones” called “Bedrock.” This is going to be an adult-centered cartoon that features the Flinstone family decades after the original one was set. The article says that Fred is heading towards his retirement years. We don’t know if he is retired yet or working towards it. It also says my personal favorite character… the one I dress up as for Halloween… Pebbles is entering her adult life. She is just about to start her career and I personally can’t wait to see what she is going to do for a living. Any guesses? I think she will be a receptionist.
I’m not sure when this will air, but it should be coming out in the next year. I’m really hoping the producers and writers don’t ruin this cartoon for me because I really did love the Flinstones!
