Last night I went to dinner with a friend I made when I first moved to town. We haven’t seen each other in a while because life is crazy! The waitress didn’t ask how we wanted to handle the bill and dropped off one check for us. Neither one of us knew how to handle the bill so I just picked up the check! It did bring up a good conversation though. How should you handle a situation like that? I’ve asked Facebook and I’m asking you! Everyone says it depends on the situation. Which I agree! There was actually an article done on this.
According to SWNS, 36% of people say you should only pay for what you got and 34% say split it evenly. This same article found that on average, we spend six minutes debating on how to handle the situation.
