There are so many good tv series that have had some good runs over the years. One of my personal favorites is The Gilmore Girls. My mom and I are the biggest fans of the show. We can quote every episode and even at one point had matching fan girl shirts. Anytime I’m having a bad day, I watch at least one of the episodes. Everyone has had a lot of time on their hands lately and many of us are turning to our favorite TV Shows to fill that time. I asked Facebook yesterday what folks favorite tv series were and we got so many responses. We got everything from Friends, to MASH, The Office, and everything in between. So why is so many folks rewatching?… there is a theory.
According to BBC News, rewatching your favorite TV Series is good for your soul… not your mental health. They say this is good for our souls because it is comforting and stress-free. That’s what everyone is looking for these days. So… why isn’t it good for your mental health? They say that binge-watching can lead to depression! When you binge-watches something, you self isolate. That’s bad for your mental health.
