It’s election day tomorrow (June 8) for voters in Pierre and the Pierre and Stanley County School Districts.
Stanley County School Board candidates vying for two, three-year positions are Mitch Kleinsasser, Kevin Carter, Shaun Cronin (incumbent) and Kayla Magee. Current board member Chris Fosheim is running unopposed for his two-year seat. Polls will be open 7am-7pm MT/8am-8pm CT with voting taking place at the:

For Pierre School Board, there are five candidates for two positions– incumbents Dennis James and Randy Hartmann as well as Paul Giovanetti, Bree Oatman and Lindsay Strophus.
The Pierre City Commission has two spots up for grabs. Those candidates are incumbent Jamie Huizenga, Todd Johnson, Amy Currie and Lucas Solberg.
