Trappers’ Losing Streak Extends To Four

FREMONT, NE – The struggle for the Pierre Trappers continued Sunday with a 9-6 loss to the Fremont Moo at Moller Field, Pierre’s fourth straight defeat.

The Trappers (6-9) were held to four hits.  Brock Rinehart had two, including a double.  Bennet Osborn drove in two runs.  Starter Nick McCollum (1-1) allowed four runs (two unearned) and six hits in five innings, striking out five and walking two.

Pierre will have an off-day Monday before playing the Sioux Falls Sunfish Tuesday in Sioux Falls and hosting the Sunfish Wednesday and Thursday at Hyde Stadium.
