Several inches of rain has fallen in Hand County in the past 24 hours, causing some roads to be under water today (Tues.).
County emergency management director Alex Roeber says an intense storm developed over the central part of the county mid-day yesterday.
As of mid-morning, Roeber hadn’t heard there had been any structural damage.
He says state and county crews are checking roads.
Roeber says report county road flooding to the Hand County Highway Department at 853-3292. Township road flooding should be reported to a township board member.
