Couple who lived in Chamberlain save can of Coors Banquet for 50 years

Fifty years ago, on a trip to Colorado, Ed Nesselhuf purchased a can of Coors Banquet. He told his wife Diane they’d drink it together on their 50th wedding anniversary.

Ed passed away five years ago, but Diane and their son Ben honored him by making good on the young couple’s promise to crack open the 50-year-old can of Coors Banquet on what would have been the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.

To celebrate, Coors sent Diane a custom Coors Banquet cake and beer for a year.
