BUTTE, MT – Despite having just five hits, the Mining City Tommyknockers scored 10 runs for the second straight night in a 10-6 win over the Pierre Trappers Friday at 3 Legends Field.
Trappers’ pitching gave up 10 walks. James Martin drove in two runs for Mining City.
Colin Adams hit a two-run double in a three-run third inning for Pierre (14-34). The Trappers made the game closer in the ninth, scoring one run on a wild pitch and another on Spencer Weston RBI double, his second run driven in for the game.
