Kids pedal pull, free wagon rides, activity booths and more among tonight’s First Thursday activities in Fort Pierre

First Thursday activities will be held this evening (Aug. 5) from 5:30-8pm at Fischers Lilly Park in Fort Pierre.

Activities and informational booths include, but are not limited to:

• music by The Dirty Boot Band starting at 5:30pm

• kids pedal pull at 6:30pm

• kids activities at the South Dakota Discovery Center, YMCA and Stanley County Gold Program booths

• face painting

• cake walk

• fundraising super nachos meal by The Right Turn

• Master Gardeners

• pickleball

• free COVID vaccines

• Free wagon rides with Willie Cowan

• MOPS bake sale

• American Legion selling beverages

• various vendors

Picnic tables will be available, but people are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
