FORT PIERRE – After winning its first three matches of the season, Stanley County Volleyball lost twice on Saturday at Parkview Auditorium, in four sets to Timber Lake and in five sets to White River.
Timber Lake held off the Buffaloes, 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22. Shaylee Tople led SC with 11 kills, adding three aces and five digs. Kori Gabriel scored nine kills, with 18 digs. Jordyn Sosa had seven kills, an ace and an assist.
White River outlasted Stanley County, 25-22, 23-25, 14-25, 25-21, 15-12. Sosa had 12 kills, three blocks and two aces. Cadence Hand scored 10 kills with two blocks.
Stanley County will host Philip on Thursday at Parkview Auditorium.
