The South Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a 20-year-old Pierre woman who died in a one vehicle rollover accident last week (Tues.) 12 miles north of Hayes in northwestern Stanley County.
In a release yesterday (Sun.), the South Dakota Highway Patrol says Romy Rabbit was killed when the 2002 Ford Expedition she was riding in went into the ditch on Sansarc Road and rolled, coming to rest on its roof.
The driver, 45-year-old Ravae Bowman of Pierre had lost control of the vehicle trying to avoid a deer that had entered the roadway. She sustained minor injuries. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
