Democrats in the South Dakota House and Senate have chosen their caucus leaders for the upcoming Legislative Session.
The Democratic Party will be led by the first Native American caucus leader in the State Legislature, Sen. Troy Heinert of Mission. Rep. Jamie Smith of Sioux Falls will lead Democrats in the House.
