Over 65 Percent Voter Turnout in Hughes County

Hughes county finance officer Jane Naylor says there was over 65 percent voter turnout.

Naylor, states attorney Roxanne Hammond and sheriff Mike Liedholt weren’t challenged in their bids for reelection. Republicans Randy Vance, Connie Hohn and Bill Abernathy have been elected to seats on the Hughes County Commission.

All of these winners will start their terms in early January.
