Republican incumbents in District 24 all held on to their seats in the South Dakota House and Senate.
Senator Jeff Monroe defeated challenger Amanda Bachmann 67 percent (6989) to 33 percent (3519).
Representatives Mary Duvall and Tim Rounds beat challengers Terry Keller and Brian Watterson. Duvall lead with 37 percent (7238) of the vote. Rounds took 35 percent (6836). Terry Keller won 18 percent (3449) of the votes while Brian Watterson received 11 percent of the votes (2137).
