Flags to Remain At Half-Staff Through Monday to Honor Justice Zinter

In honor of South Dakota Supreme Court Justice Steven L. Zinter, Gov. Dennis Daugaard has requested that all flags in the state remain at half-staff until sunset on Monday, Nov. 5, the day of Justice Zinter’s funeral.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CST at Lutheran Memorial Church, located at 320 E Prospect Ave in Pierre, with a prayer service to follow at 6:30 p.m. CST. The funeral will be on Monday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. CST at Lutheran Memorial Church with burial at Pierre Riverside Cemetery.
