Portions of Prospect Avenue in Pierre will stay closed to through traffic for another week or two.
Prospect Avenue between Sebree Place and North Yankton Avenue will remain closed to through traffic until June 12. Prospect Avenue between Oneida and Willow Avenues will remain closed to through traffic until Saturday (June 6).
Local traffic will maintain access. Through traffic is encouraged to detour around the area. The closures will allow the City to rebuild and resurface portions of the street.
Next week, the entrance to Mickelson Pond from East Fourth Street will be closed for construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via the walking trail.
