A 27-year-old Rapid City woman faces Assault on an Officer and other charges after breaking into a home in Pierre yesterday (Mon.) evening.
According to the Pierre Police Department, officers were called to the 100 Block of South Poplar because Regina Sharpfish had unlawfully entered an occupied residence. The occupant of the residence didn’t know Sharpfish and wanted her to be removed. In the process of entering the residence, Sharpfish caused $350 in damage to a door.
Sharpfish was placed into custody for Unlawful Occupancy and Intentional Damage and transported to the Hughes County Jail. Once at the jail, Sharpfish spat upon a correctional officer, so was additionally charged with Assault on an Officer by Causing Contact with Bodily Fluid.
