Nicollet Avenue, between Broadway Avenue and Church Street in Pierre, is closed to through traffic this evening because of a water main break.
Pierre Utilities director Brad Palmer says fewer than a dozen customers are impacted by the break at the intersection of Broadway and Nicollet Avenues.
On another topic, Palmer says as of late afternoon, only a few areas of Pierre still needed to have snow plowed.
