At last night’s (Mon.) meeting, the Pierre School Board recognized Jay Mickelson for being chosen as the district’s Teacher of the Year.
But, Supt. Dr. Kelly Glodt said Mickelson recently added another honor to his list of achievements.
Mickelson shared a few examples of the rewards of being a teacher.
Mickelson is retiring this year after 47 years teaching.
