A 29-year-old Rapid City woman has pled guilty (Tues.) to drug and speeding charges stemming from her arrest in Stanley County in February.
Stanley County States Attorney Tom Maher says Kaylee Zilverberg pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance and Speeding.
On February 8, a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper stopped Zilverberg for driving 96 mph in a 65 mph zone. The trooper discovered Zilvergerg was in possession of controlled drugs (psylocibin mushrooms and marijuana) and drug paraphernalia.
The controlled substance offense carries a maximum penalty of 5 years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine.
The judge ordered a presentence investigation. Zilverberg’s sentencing is set for June 4 at 10 a.m.
