(KWAT, Watertown)- Watertown police arrested two men on drug charges yesterday (Tues.) following a traffic stop around 11a.m.
During the stop, officers observed indicators of criminal behavior. K-9 officer Bono was deployed and alerted to the presence of drugs inside the car.
A search of the vehicle uncovered more than $4,000 cash, a loaded handgun, 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine, one ounce of marijuana, prescription pills, THC oil and numerous items of drug paraphernalia including scales and packaging materials.
Police arrested the two occupants of the car, 29 year-old Jordan Bachmann of Huron and 34 year-old Timothy Elrod of Dell Rapids.
They are being held in the Codington County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond.
