For the most part, it’s been an unseasonably mild winter in central South Dakota.
SDSU Extension State Climatologist Laura Edwards says weather models show the pattern continuing.
Edwards says it’s also been very dry with little snow cover– if any– left in the middle and western parts of the state.
Edwards says we could see some moisture late this month (Feb. 2022).
