The Missouri River Dam System storage level has gotten slightly lower in the past week.
US Army Corps of Engineers power production team lead for the Missouri River Water Management Division Mike Swenson says system storage declined by about 0.4 million acre feet with 11.9 MAF currently stored in the system’s flood control zones.
Swenson says the Oahe Dam reservoir is at 1617 feet.
Swenson expects releases at all of the upper reservoirs will remain high through the rest of the year.
