etty Lou Erickson, 89, of Pierre, passed away, July 12, 2022 at her home. Per her request there will be no services held.
Betty Lou Erickson was born to Jesse and Bessie Venner on April 7, 1933 in Pierre. Betty graduated from Agar High School in 1951 and then went on to attend Northern State University. Betty Lou married Wayne Erickson on June 26, 1957 and to this union two children were born. She went to work for Oahe Electric as a bookkeeper for 21 years, retiring in 1973. Betty enjoyed home decorating, jigsaw puzzles and her outdoor flower beds.
Betty is survived by her children Susan (Neil) Ogan of Pierre and Brad (Jacqueline) Erickson of Moses Lake, WA and four grandchildren: Ryan (Nicole) Ogan, Andrew Ogan, Tara Davis and Danielle Erickson. Great Grandchildren Jamie and Alex Ogan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Wayne.
